Doug
is
Managing
Director
of
Investment
Banking.
He
earned
a
BA
at
Denison
University,
an
MBA
at
the
University
of
Connecticut
and
completed
postgraduate
courses
in
Finance
at
the
University
of
Pennsylvania.
He
began
his
Wall
Street
career
in
corporate
finance
at
Salomon
Brothers
in
1978.
At
Salomon
he
enhanced
his
ability
to
structure
and
price
various
securities,
became
conversant
with
many
domestic
and
international
institutional
accounts,
and
completed
hundreds
of
institutional
transactions.
While
at
Kidder
Peabody,
Doug
created
and
ran
the
High
Yield
Department
as
well
as
headed
the
Private
Placement
Department,
again
completing
numerous
public
and
private
institutional
placements.
Later,
at
Alex.
Brown
&
Sons,
he
formed
and
ran
the
High
Yield
Finance
and
Private
Placement
Departments
primarily
serving
their
clientele
in
the
debt
and
equity
institutional
markets.
During
his
career,
Doug
has
raised
in
excess
of
$30
billion
in
capital
for
clients
in
numerous
industries.
