Dave, 46, is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer. He is also the acting Senior General Securities Principal, Financial and Operations Principal, Senior Registered Options Principal (SROP), Municipal Securities Principal and Senior Compliance Officer. 

After graduating from Bentley College in 1983, he began his career at Scott, Starr Investments, a Boston-based registered investment advisory firm specializing in institutional investment advisory services. He took over as Senior Partner and President of Scott, Starr Investments in 1988 which later became Northern Capital Advisors Corporation. In 1996, he founded Northern Capital Securities Corporation and developed  the company into an institutionally focused securities broker-dealer. He merged Northern Capital Advisors Corporation and Northern Capital Securities Corporation in 2005 creating what is now a full service securities, investment banking and advisory firm. Dave and his wife Margie have two daughters.
