Mike is a Managing Director of Fixed Income Sales and Trading.  After receiving his undergraduate degree in Finance from Central Connecticut State University, Mike began his career with the First National Bank of Boston in their Shareholder Services unit.  In 1996 Mike helped to start up Bank of Boston’s Section 20 High Yield broker-dealer desk, the first of it’s kind in the City of Boston.  He was responsible for trading the High Yield Healthcare and Automotive sectors.  Mike added to his industry experience as a fund wholesaler first for Pioneer Investments, then Guardian Insurance,  before joining the fixed income desk at Bear Stearns in 2003. He has been with Northern Capital since early 2008.

Areas of expertise include both High Grade and High Yield Corporate bonds, U.S. Government Agencies, Municipal Securities, Emerging Markets, and Preferred Stock.

Mike is an avid golfer, fitness buff and Boston sports fan.  He and his wife Andrea make their home in Framingham, Massachusetts.
