Dave is the founder, President and CEO. He is also the acting Senior General Securities Principal, Financial and Operations Principal, Senior Registered Options Principal (SROP), Municipal Securities Principal and Senior Compliance Officer.
After graduating from Bentley College in 1983, Dave began his career at Scott, Starr Investments, a Boston-based registered investment advisory firm specializing in institutional investment advisory services. He took over as Senior Partner and President of Scott, Starr Investments in 1988. In 1996, he founded Northern Capital Securities Corporation, an institutionally focused, independent broker-dealer. In 2005, he merged the two financial services companies into a single firm focused on serving the needs of institutional fixed income investors.
Dave lives in Andover, Massachusetts with his wife Margie and their two daughters.
