Scott is a Managing Director of Fixed Income Sales and Trading. He graduated from Colgate University in 1981 where he earned a B.A. in Economics. He began his career at Newcomb Securities, a fixed income securities firm in New York City. He later moved on to Stuart James as well as New England Discount Brokerage, the brokerage subsidiary of Bank of New England.
Scott has enjoyed a long career at Northern Capital, joining the firm in 1990. As an institutional advisor, he took over the deposit brokerage desk in 1995.
Scott specializes in bank and credit union deposit brokerage and he has extensive knowledge and experience with a variety of Certificate of Deposit structures. He also has expertise in the US government agency and mortgage backed securities markets.
A native of New Jersey, Scott has resided in Boston for the past 25 years.
